Allow a PI Point's point class to be edited in the Point Builder of PI System Management Tools

Currently, a PI Point's point class can be edited through PI Builder but not through PI System Management Tools. Please consider giving PI System Management Tools the ability to edit the point class as well.

Log SQL server name when throwing network-related or instance-specific errors

Add pH to the UOM database

pH is a common enough unit that it should be in the UOM database by default. It is also tricky for customers to add pH themselves and get the dimensions correct, so it is best that OSIsoft does this for us.

Saving the "Analysis Service Statistics" should be saved in XML instead of TXT since this is the actual format of the file

It is possible to change the format after it is saved, but it should natively  be saved as an XML.

Analysis Searches - Allow Searching by 'Backilling'

In PI System Explorer under the Management tab, add a new search category in Analysis Searches to allow searching by Backfilling.  The Backfilling status column is always shown in the results window, but there is no way to search by this column.

Add a UOM class for bit rate

More generally, the UOM class should capture information per time. This is useful for labelling data transfer speeds and signal quality.

Use superscript characters in UOM abbreviations

Currently, exponents in UOM abbreviations are not superscripted (e.g. cm2, ft3). Please use the proper superscript characters for these (e.g. cm², ft³).

Be able to add child attributes to attributes that use limit traits

Currently, if an attribute has a limit trait assigned to it, it cannot have child attributes. This seems somewhat arbitrary. Child attributes of attributes with limit traits would be useful for high/low warnings/alarms.
