I agree with the others! Our organization is currently transitioning to OPC-UA and we have many tags that the users need transformed. The fact that we are not able to easily transform data as we can in OPC-DA is hurting us badly.
Agree with John, in my organization PI admins don't have access to modify/scale tags on OPC UA servers. The tags can be scaled in AF with formulas or UOM conversions but sometimes we want the data stored as a scaled value for consistency across like tags and for ease of use for users that are using tags directly instead of going through AF.
This would be huge as we don't always have access to the opc ua server.
In this situation we would need to build multiple tags to convert using AF.
