Support "Data Handling" options for adapters

The PI Interface for OPC DA can write IO timeout when it cannot get values from the OPC server. It would be useful to have the same option for the adapters so that stale data is marked IO timeout or similar, and automatically invalidates calculations and is visible in clients.

      Much needed enhancement to have in the product. While the product is being considered as a valuable solution, this to an extent is putting deployments on hold.
