Thank you for your feedback. We'd like to understand the exact behavior you are requesting. Are you wanting the AVEVA Adapter to change the name of existing PI tags in the PI Server? That will not be feasible, as Adapters do not have the means/permissions to modify something that has already been created in the data endpoint.
If you could share your scenario and ultimate goal with us, that would help us with determining how to best support you in what you're looking to accomplish or provide you with a solution that currently exists.
