    OSIsoft does not plan to incorporate bi-directional data flow within the Connector Framework. The PI System plays a vital role in our customers’ process and business workflows, and uni-directional data flow from the data source to the PI System helps maintain the integrity and security of our customers’ operations.

      Hello, I have a customer requesting output Tags for PI Connector for OPC UA specifically.

      Need to pass heartbeat tag to the source system. Will be good to have output tags.

      especialy for OPC UA is an additional feedback: https://feedback.osisoft.com/forums/555139-pi-connectors/suggestions/19319233-allow-sending-data-to-the-opc-ua-server write access is very important, independent of the data source.

      We need to be able to write back via OPC UA in order to replace current OPC DA technology

      We need to write back heartbeats to OPC UA servers and we use PI as data gateway for recipe management with OPC DA servers. We would like to do that with OPC UA too. Why can we not get two versions as it is with OPC DA Interfaces (a read-only and a read/write Interface)?
