Import function for data selection in PI Data Data Collection Manager

During setup of a new data source we always face a long list of several thousand tags where we only need a couple of hundred. We have also a list with tagnames available as .xlsx or similar. The idea is to have an import function for that list to automatically select / create the selection rules for that given set of tags.

    Please just make a csv export/import function.

    automatically creating the rules may be a bridge too far. I would be happy with being able to import some kind of pseudo-SQL select query or series of queries.

    once the import function is available it would be natural to also be able to export the current query (1) for a partial config backup (2) export, modify, import type of config updates become possible, (3) configuring "sister" projects where the plant is basically a replica, with a few minor changes - export project A, modify as needed, import to project B
