Have PI System Connector support null system digital states

Would like to have the connector support Null System digital states. Null system digital states can work locally on a PI Server. Would like the connector to support all the options found locally so that we could accurately sync systems.

I agree that the connector should support null states, if the PI server supports a configuration on the source system then why wouldn't the customer expect it to be replicated to the destination?

I'm referring to an empty field for a state....nothing entered at all in that field. On the version released last fall that I'm still using this caused the system connector and/or relay to hang on startup, it never began data collection. Is that fixed now?

@fburrows thanks for the additional information. Now that I have a better understanding of the behavior, this is something that we're addressing in an update for the PI System Connector that I expect to release in Q1 of 2020. Look forward to following up to see if your issue is resolved then.
