Flexibility in configuring the DescriptionField tag (<DescriptionField value="TEXT"/>)

PI-Connector-for-GE-e-terrahabitat-1.1.1.42

Currently, the Connector for e-terrahabitat only allows the configuration of the Description Field to return only data from the TEXT field and PNTNAM table.

The configuration of the Description field needs to be dynamic to concatenate values ​​from different tables. Something similar to the PIName tag.

  • Example: "{k2}.{k3}.{k4}.{k5}"

  • The values ​​currently required are:

    • Substation ID + Device Name + Device Long Name + Point/Analog/Count ID

Therefore, the product would need to be improved to provide flexible configuration of the Description field.
