My Feed on the Customer Portal Home Page does not show enough characters in the title of items

As a Customer Portal User I need to be able to see more of the title of the alerts and other items subscribed to in my Feed to be able to easily discern the importance or relevance of the listing.

    The "My Feed" column is far too narrow. I agree with "Randy Esposito" the severely limited number of characters makes it unreasonable to determine its importance or relevance. I am surprised this feature made it through user testing or focus group evaluations. This is an example of a news feed I follow if I truncated the headlines similarly: Texas firefight… Denver airport … Pilot buys 70 h… Reps. Jordan an… Admissions scan… Gang member in … Mexico launches… You can see it is a pain in the neck to check security updates, patch releases or other important action items if I cannot read the headlines.
