    Thank you very much for sharing your feedback on the PI Server. After further evaluation, we have decided to decline this item, as we are not planning on implementing it in the near future due to other high priority items across the PI System. Thank you for your feedback, and know that we are listening and reviewing every item that gets submitted!

    As a PI administrator, I would like to have a Global Reset To Template option at the AF Server level or database level to update all the PI Point Data Reference attributes of my existing AF hierarchy with the new naming pattern in the Element Templates. Currently a reset to template is required for the PI Point Data Reference attributes which can be done using PI Builder. Since this happens in a large scale, around millions of PI tags, therefore it is much easier to have a global reset to template option so there is no need to use PI Builder and multiple Excel sheets.
