"Network Manager" for PI AF Server

One of the common requests for health is the ability to track connections from clients.  PI Data Archive has a much more native capability (Network Manager Statistics). Currently, client connectivity can be tracked via modifications to the .config file - this is documented in a KB article - but is likely insufficient and too difficult for our needs for health since it requires access to local server logs and also would not account for load-balanced servers. https://techsupport.osisoft.com/Troubleshooting/KB/KB00412/ Basically, a "Network Manager Statistics" for PI AF Server.

Where is this information in AF 2018? I don't see it in System Explorer anywhere.

In response to Bill Busch, "Where is this information in AF 2018? I ..." It is a little hidden in the AF 2018 version of PI System Explorer. Go to the PI System properties page and select the 'Counts' page. Then right-click and choose 'Connections'.     We are moving the RPC Metrics and Connections to tabs on the properties page in the next release to make them more visible.
