Pre-installation system wide compatibility check

As a system administrator, I would like a comprehensive tool to validate system and version compatibility across my entire PI system.  When performing upgrades / adding components to my PI infrastructure, it takes considerable time to comb through the installation guides and manually compare prerequisites to determine the impact a software change will have on the system.
