Some additional details about the request: Pain Point - If a change is made to an Event Frame Notification Template, the Event Frame closes. - Another Event Frame immediately opens for the still-true notification, and emails go out for all of the re-opened notifications with blank information about the trigger - Some of our notifications do not indicate the trigger attribute in the email for simplicity or readability, and for those notifications people have wasted time on reacting to false alarms - This creates dozens of false, notifications in one moment containing blank triggers. Many of these notifications go to management, so management gets spammed with unnecessary emails - We are in an R&D environment and are constantly updating templates based on feature requests and troubleshooting due to frequent version updates. Request - Do not close event frames for an ongoing notification when changes are made to the Notification’s Event Frame template. - Only close the event frame if a change to a Analysis trigger makes the condition no longer true.

Thank you for your feedback. The upcoming release of PI Server will include an analysis enhancement that will cover this case - the event frames will not be closed due to analysis changes unless there was a closing event or a different event frame template was selected for the analysis.
