Multiple Event Frames generation

I want the ability to have simultainiously events generated from the same analyses. The way now is that a event frame must be closed before a new event is generated.

    We currently have no plans to implement this. There are several reasons. 1) Event frames should not be considered a complete replacement for an alarming system as Analytics and event frames don't have all the requirements needed for an alarming system, 2) the logic to implement what has been requested in the UI would unnecessarily complicate the configuration experience and also manageability - when someone has to decipher what had been configured previously. As this time, we recommend that multiple analyses be used if multiple event frames are needed. We may reconsider this request at a future time and if so, we will change the status of this idea.

    Please explain your use case. If you have, let's say, 2 event frames open from the same analysis simultaneously, and a new value is received that closes this event frame, how would we know which of the 2 event frames to close? (since they are from the same analysis, they have the same logic to open the event frame and the same logic to close the event frame).

    @Stephen Kwan: Hobbe's original use case is related to OPC Alarms and Events, where it is possible that a single asset or data source can have multiple alarms simultaneously. In OPC AE the alarm gets "Status = Active" which can be used to trigger an event frame, but it also has some unique fields which could be used to identify which event frame to close out of several event frames associated with the asset.
