When you're searching for PI Points using PI Builder, in the search bar, start typing the PI Point attribute of interest. In your case, start typing - exd... and so on. You will find that we support searching on the extended descriptor with the exdesc: keyword. In order to keep the search dialog box as clean as possible, we do not have a list of all the PI Point attributes in the UI, but once you start typing, the UI leads you to all the search keywords available for searching PI Point attributes. This is all explained in the documentation.

In response to Stephen Kwan, "When you're searching for PI Points usin..." Thank you. Last night, after seeing the items closed, I found the ability to select the attribute via a drop down in the Datalink search and replied as such to the user who was requesting help. I will send this reply to him as well.   Much appreciated.
