Analytics functions Find with custom filter

I would like to have new analytics functions Find(attribute attname, time startTime, timeendTime, string filter) and TimeTrue(attribute attname, time startTime, timeendTime, string filter) similar to FindEq() and TimeEq() but with flexible filter conditions as it is possible in pi datalink.

Asset Analytics was built to be a real time calculation engine, meaning the calculations are done repeated over and over again based on a schedule. With that in mind, can you better explain what you're trying to do? It seems that you're trying to find a particular string between a start and end time. Can I assume this is a string PI Point? Similarly are you trying to find the total amount of time for a string value over a time range? Is this some sort of status being stored in a string PI Point?
