    This is not possible because it is the browser that is enforcing this, not the PI Web API Server. Also, according to the fetch specification, using '*' would be an illegal configuration, because credentials are being used. See here: https://fetch.spec.whatwg.org/#http-cors-protocol

    This way CORS origin with '*' works and customer can decide to enforce this or not. More useful in non production environment.
