Manual entry data function may be useful with macros becoming antiquated. Support for making annotations may be useful enhancement as well. Note: This was previously Enhancement 19290OSI8.

    Being a visualization client, PI DataLink doesn't have the architecture to support manual data entry, which is a different and complex use case. The workarounds would involve customer written VBA, which could be a security concern and hence, against our R&D recommendations.
