OSIsoft Interfaces and Connectors which support Windows 10 can be run on Windows 10 Professional, Windows 10 Enterprise and Windows 10 IoT Enterprise. However, Windows 10 IoT Core is not supported. If Windows 10 IoT Enterprise doesn't meet the needs of your implementation, we encourage you to create a feedback idea for the protocol and implementation that you need to support.

This is needed to allow users to integrate IoT gateways like the Dell IoT Gateway into their existing PI infrastructure. Without this support, it is likely that IoT will largely stay outside of the PI System. If it was in place it would also allow for redundancy for critical signals for remotely sites through IoT gateways.

How is it possible that OSIsoft does not support the IoT OS yet? the OSIsoft connector framework must be support it at least! Not only the Windows IoT/embedded version but also the Windows IoT Core/Linux on ARM devices, such as Raspberry PI, light ARM industrial PC etc..

I think it's very important to support Windows IoT/Embedded (also linux would be very interesting): the possibility of install OSI connectors and interfaces on light pc or controller with give us the possbility of reduce hardware costs and allow to share moreover the data acquisition.
