ICU Service Account format

ICU only accepts domain\account format for the service account the interface is running under. A newer format account@FQDN is now used for new Windows server AD. This format should also be allowed. The current workaround is to change the log on account using Services.

    Yes, I go to the services app (services.msc) and manually adjust the logon account using the format that is needed. I point out this flaw in ICU so that it can be addressed or ignored.

    Thank you for bringing your request to our attention. We appreciate your feedback and are always looking for ways to improve our product. I added your request to our product backlog. While we cannot guarantee that every request will make it into our product roadmap, we do carefully consider every suggestion we receive.

    In the mean time, I believe you should be able to go to the services app (services.msc) and manually adjust the logon account using the format you prefer.
