Expose Integrator's "Health" via performance counters

Not just the BA integrator, but all integrators should expose performance counters for health & performance monitoring? Including a true heartbeat counter than we can reliably watch to determine the successful end to end flow of data through the integrator?

    The 2018 release includes a new feature called Statistics which documents each time a view was published, how many rows of data were read and written, and how many errors if any during each publishing event. This feature technically tracks the run history of all published views. Under the tab Statistics for each view, the history lists all runs with information on date and time of each run, total duration of run, rows of data written, rows filtered out by filters and cleansing, and error counts (which can then reviewed in the logs). It also includes time duration of each step: reading from PI, filtering and calculating, and writing to .     This request is being considered for the release after PI Integrator for Business Analytics 2016 R2 SP1 which is currently scheduled for Q1/2018. A detailed run report will be available which includes relevant statistics regarding API calls times, data rates, and exceptions.

    Can we mark this as not complete until performance counters are actually created for these health metrics? As of right now someone has to physically look at the statistics to monitor the health instead of setting up PI notifications (automate?
