Allow assets to be filtered based on template inheritance

We currently have Elements built on inherited templates. For example, we have ElementTemplate, which has inherited child templates,  ChildTemplateA and ChildTemplateB. In PI System Explorer, we can do an Element Search and apply a template filter for ElementTemplate. The results will include any elements based on ElementTemplate, as well as any Elements based on both inherited child templates, ChildTemplateA and ChildTemplateB. However, when building a shape in the integrator, there is currently no corresponding way to filter based on the parent template, ElementTemplate. In order to provide a consistent user experience, the PI Integrator for Business Analytics should allow the user to filter in this way.

    This feature has been completed since PI Integrator for Business Analytics 2018. It shows up as a checkbox for "Search Derived Templates" when you click into a filter. A related feature supporting Event Frame templates in Event Views was added in PI Integrator for Business Analytics 2018 R2.

    This feature will be included in the release after PI Integrator for Business Analytics 2016 R2 SP1 which is currently scheduled for Q1/2018.

    It very uncomfortable when we can not search tags on the AF hierarchy and add any tags on collections without relation on template way.

    This is implemented in the latest version (2018 R2). When editing the Asset Filter, next to the Asset Template checkbox, there is a second check box for Search Derived Templates. Checking both boxes should fulfill the requested functionality.
