PI to Maximo integration

When PI is used to gather equipment sensor information but Maximo is used for asset management, it would be helpful to have a simple way to get equipment information out of PI and into Maximo.  This would be useful for scheduling preventative maintenance, among other things.

    Thanks for the feedback and ideas so far! At this time, we have commitments and another planned release for PI Integrator for Business Analytics at the end of 2018. We will revisit this idea again after the next release. Please feel free to contact me with any questions or additional feedback.

    A 2 way communication - PI to Maximo and Maximo to PI would also help with visualization. We have plant dashboards in Vision and indicating plant status based on maintenance schedules will be of great help. Also leveraging Maximo hierarchy to create PI AF Hierarchy would also help us.

    Several water authorities in the region have Maximo and PI, and would like to have an 'out-of-the-box' integration to set up connectivity between these two critical systems. A way to see Maximo data (WO created) into PI Vision and triggering WO is desired; option to sync AF structures/Maximo assets has been also mentioned. At least 2 customers are happy to support OSIsoft on this initiative, and can allocate resources for helping out in discovery process and beta version testing.

    Besides sending data from PI to Maximo, there are customers who want to bring data from Maximo back to PI as well. Current method for bi-directional communications are still very customized. If we can provide integrator or interface for bi-directional communications, customer would appreciate.
