    Currently the UI does not enable this selection for an interpolated or exact sampling below the second. Our process has higher frequency sampling for certain conditioned that are comprised in Event Frames. For these conditions (used in publication filters) we wish to sample the data at periods below the second but the UI does not enable this feature. Oddly enough if we go to the AF configuration DB for the publication in question we can work around the UI by adjusting the 'Interval Time' of the sampling 'ValueMode' attribute:
