Monitor Rtreports tag's Annotation

all the report's approval, verification status saved in the Annotation of the PI Tag, we want to develop a customized application to monitor the tag value to report the system administrator the status of the batch report approval in real-time. That approval and verification information is encrypted as a byte array in the annotation, we hope Osisoft can help us to transfer that byte array to readable string.

    We are facing the same in our project. In an external tool we are bringing every info abou the batch together also by embedding Pi Vision displays. Once the batch is finished the user using a link to open the Report in RtReports, in order to do the comment, verification and approval work. But there are lot of batches, which are ending at the same time and they would like to see the status of each batch in an overview. There I tried to read the annotations but they are encrypted...

    It is beneficial for operations to follow the status of reports and chase any missing approvals or entries for completion. Through RtReports this is cumbersome as each report needs to be checked manually for the current status. Access to this information to provide an overview of the current approval status of many reports is essential for an efficient operation.
