The PI Vision development team has implemented a setting for the Symbol URL parameter allowing multiple scales to be toggled on or off for ad-hoc trends in PI Vision 2017 R2. By default multiple scales will be shown, to use single scale instead add the parameter: Symbol=trend;MultipleScales=false Upgrade to PI Vision 2017 R2 to take advantage of this and other new features. You can read about what's new in PI Vision 2017 R2 in the release announcement: https://techsupport.osisoft.com/Troubleshooting/Releases/RL01278

Very important to my customers.. Comparing limits to actual values in a trend makes no sense on Multi-y-axis scaling. this is what is defaulted on current URL calls from our HMI in kiosk mode. I would love to add "Scalemode=Single" to that URL call and keep them in kiosk mode.

Hi Mark, This parameter has been added to an ad hoc URL so that you can control if the trend is set to single or multiscale. By default the trend will be set to multiscale, but if you want to change it to single scale you can use the following parameter: Symbol=trend;MultipleScales=false A full ad hoc URL with this setting would look like: https://webserver/pivision/#/Displays/AdHoc?DataItems= \\afserver\B-210|Temperature;\\piserver\aPIPoint&Symbol=trend;MultipleScales=false

I wish you could just set this as a default for all users. There is room for error from our operators when two scales overlay and they think its one scale!
