Allow Symbols to be Excluded from Asset Switching

Excluding certain symbols from asset switching would allow displays to be authored with symbols that are "locked" -- meaning they will show the same data regardless of display asset context. This would allow displays to be used for drill-in navigation, while maintaining some top-level context data. It would also allow navigation buttons to be "locked" so that the button's target asset context will never be changed.

This is good. I like the way that Tibco Spotfire manages this (for drilldown) by different coloured markings. https://docs.tibco.com/pub/sfire-consumer/7.9.0/doc/html/en-US/GUID-01F8D5AF-7D1E-404A-B2A2-0FF71CA8BAFB.html You would subset your different symbols on you display by marking colour (only visible in config). A particular example symbol may set one colour marking, say blue, and respond to green. A different symbol or set of symbols would set the green marking for the first symbol to respond to. If a symbol had its marking removed, it would not respond, as per James's idea.
