    There are more than 300 displays available in PI Vision in our Company. Sometimes as Production Data Management System Engineer I am asked to create new displays. This opportunity will help PI users to get necessary display (if available) by putting tag name in search bar and see the existing displays. It optimize work because in this case there is no need to create a new dashboard if such already exists. Moreover, such function will help PI users to quickly find necessary dashboard without wasting time. Hope it will be implemented soon, Thanks, Ruslan Davletov, PDMS Engineer, Kazakhstan.

    I would like to have the reverse Cross Reference as well. Which tags/attributes are used on a certain display.

    We would like to be able to search for tags or AF attributes to see where these are used in PI Vision displays to bulk update changes in displays where these tags/attributes are used. Right now SQL can be used to identify the displays that need changes but is not recommended to search through the PI Vision SQL backend to view usage of tags/attributes in displays. This would help with administration tasks and bulk updates to ensure changes roll out to all displays (for example new tags/attributes associated closely with existing tags on display, deprecation of tags/equipment changes, etc.). This would also help users to identify displays containing information that is relevant to them if they do not know the display name but know that they are interested in a specific tag/attribute.
