Pen Color property for attribute

Have the ability to set a pen color for an attribute in Element Template and have PIVision use this. For example, I want to set Temperature as Green for all my trends. So when I look at hundreds of trends a day, I don't have to check every time if I am looking at Temperature or Pressure. By pen color you automatically know what attribute you are looking at on PIVision displays (assuming all trends built with using the pen color from database).

I have mixed feelings on this proposed idea.  On one hand, I get what you want to do.  This works great for assets that has several attributes as long as each attribute uniquely belongs to a given UOM (or actually UOMClass) for that asset.   How do you see this working with heat exchangers where you would have 4 different temperature readings?  It would be confusing is all of them were green.  Or if displaying a pump, there may be an inlet and outlet measurement (perhaps flow or pressure or temperature).

In response to Rick Davin, "I have mixed feelings on this proposed i..." The pen color will be a property of the attribute. So for the heat exchanger you will be defining a standard for each of the 4 temperatures to be a different pen color: Inlet Temperature - Red Outlet Temperature - Blue Jacket Temperature - Green Coil Temperature - Yellow   For a pump: Inlet pressure - Red Outlet pressure - Green   Imagine you are a Process Engineer monitoring hundreds of wells or thousands of IoT devices on multiple screens daily. You can always force standard displays with standard pen colors (how it will be handled today), but then any ad hoc trends or adding/modifying existing trends breaks the standard.   In PIvision you should also have the ability to not use the default pen color.   Thanks, Joseph
