Hi, could you provide any guidance on how to change the date format to date format to DD/MM/YYYY?

The user should have system-level preferences for region, language, date format, 12h/24h clock, etc. Could (should) also include all kinds of default formats for new displays, trends, gauges, time range, and default time zone, data refreshing, etc. For reference, ProcessBook has a Preferences window, including "Date and Time Format: Use local Windows format OR Use PI Time format". Thanks to the original poster highlighting this!

I am working with a Pharma company that wanted the format DD-MMM-YYYY in the displays. OSIsoft provided us with a custom solution, modifying some PI Vision files, but then we had problems with custom symbols developed. So I support your idea.

And I don't refer only to data types. I am referring to the date that appears in the bar time and also to the timestamp of the events.

When I select DateTime as a Value Type, how can I get the result to only appear as DD-MM-YYYY? With daily data, having the HH-MM-SS appearing is very annoying, and I'm having to use coloured boxes to coverup the HH-MM-SS portion of the DateTime stamp in Pi Vision displays.
