PIVision search mask vs Processbook search mask

1) Search mask: please do a search mask very similar to PI Processbook. The PI Vision search mask is very limited. Even if you search for tag descriptions, you only see the tag names without the tag descriptions. Have a close look on how well this works in PI Datalink and PI Processbook.

    Please add searching by PointSource, searching by *test*1 still brings Tag_test_1.xyz. *test*1 equals *test*1* ! Please fix this. It would be great to be able to have control over searching in the description vs. searching in the tagname!

    Hi Martin - there is a setting available for PI Vision admins to change the default search behavior to not append a wildcard. Here is a link to the documentation with instructions: https://docs.osisoft.com/bundle/pi-vision/page/change-the-default-search-wildcard-setting.html
