Integrate PI Manual Logger into PI Vision

PI Manual Logger is a product in need of a major upgrade.  The web interface is a step in the right direction.  Integration into Vision would be a big plus and give very good convergence between the two technologies.

    We are aware of the interest in this integration, but at this time we do not have plans to integrate PI Manual Logger with PI Vision. I have updated the status of this item to reflect this.

    I thought I saw the integration of the two on the PI System Roadmap site. I remember the site saying it would be available in the PI Coresight 2017 release. Now no mention of PI Manual logger integration. I must have imagined this.

    I could have sworn I saw the same thing and even heard mention of it at the UC.

    I was anxiously awaiting this but it seems to have fallen off the roadmap. Integrating PIML to the AF would make an immediate improvement for us.

    The manual logger requires updating. Competitive products in the market today has elevated the user experience associated with manual data entry and the market expectations now surpasses that of the PI Manual Logger

    Are you going to continue to update and provide better functionality for PI Manual Logger instead? Items like multi-tenant capability (multiple PI collectives for one Manual Logger instance), more modern admin UI (web versus windows), etc.?

    It's very sad. Because it would be very useful for your customers. Manual data entry is very necessary for us. We use third-party applications for this. We thought that would change soon.

    Need Manual Data entry from PI Vision display. Huge topic. Process book was able to do this.
