Notification/Event Acknowledgement: Support 21 CFR Part 11 Electronic Signatures

Include functionality to support the pharmaceutical industry electronic record and electronic signature requirements (21 CFR Part 11) when acknowledging an event or notification, when setting a reason code, and when commenting. This would require the forcing of the Username / Password of the user and potentially some text describing the meaning of the signature.

    that would be great. for processbook we had to program an own plug in. hope in coresight this comes out of the box.

    There is also a need to comment on PI Tag values with electronic signature!!!

    I would like to add a recent feature to this list - Reason Codes should also retain some type of history - currently there seems to be no evidence of who saved the last reason code entry nor what previous values may have been

This would require the forcing of the Username / Password of the user and potentially some text describing the meaning of the signature.

    regarding this it should also be possible to configure if a Comment/Reason code is required before Acknowledging an Event - as this might also impact other applications, a solution might be implemented on AF/EF level.
