Investigating various process changes, such as starts, stops and other events, may involve analyzing several digital and trend values to properly understand the process. When all digital values are scaled equally, it becomes difficult to gain a clear overview.
This should be a relatively simple fix to implement. The Ad-Hoc view already presents digital tags on the y-axis based on the numerical values of the enumeration set, while displaying the corresponding text. To improve usability, simply include the lowest and highest values of the enumeration set in the "Top" and "Bottom" scale boxes of each attribute, allowing users to adjust the range as needed.
There is one workaround: adding the digital value via the tag search option instead of as an attribute. In this case, the digital state is displayed only by its numerical value, which enables manual scaling. However, the corresponding text is missing, which can be confusing when many values are shown on the same chart. Additionally, our goal is to use only attributes on the user side, making this workaround less ideal.
functionality has been available in Processbook and was used to have several digital tags in a single trend without having the lines crossing each other. We tried to build this via using multiple trends, but as soon as you want to dig deeper into a trend in full size, you can't see the other tags anymore.
Need a way for each individual tag to have custom limits typed in from user, more than just the digital pre-set values.
