Ability to create shortcuts to Displays, and store shortcuts in PI Vision Folders.

Currently, PI Vision folders can only contain displays.

  • If there are multiple folders that need to have the same display, multiple (different) copies of the display must be made.

  • If changes needs to be made to the display, it needs to be made multiple times (to each copy).

It would be great for display management if there is a function similar to how Windows folders can contain shortcuts to files.


If shortcuts to PI Vision Displays can be created, and such shortcuts can be stored in folders, then if an underlying Display is modified, the edits will be reflected in all folders that contains the shortcut.
