Collapse Configure Menu when Opened

When configuring Trends, Bar Charts or XY Plots there are several configuration screens. Often I need to make a change on one of the screens that isn't open so I wind up closing the open screens to find the one I need.

My preference would be for all of the option screens to be closed so the user could easily choose the screen they wanted. Additionally, during the session the menu screens for each type should retain their last setting. This would help the user who is making multiple adjustments on several displays. Once the page is closed all session settings would revert to the initial state, closed.
