To the AVEVA PI Vision Development Team,
We request the ability to view PI Point attributes and calculation formulas directly within PI Vision.
Problem:
Many of end-users (e.g., operators) are restricted to using only PI Vision. This complete inability to see a tag's underlying logic is a major roadblock, preventing them from independently validating data or performing basic troubleshooting.
Proposed Solution:
Implement a simple way to access this data, such as:
A right-click context menu ("View Tag Details").
A hover-over tooltip that displays the formula.
Impact:
This feature is essential for empowering our operators and increasing overall efficiency. It would enable faster problem-solving, improve trust in the data, and streamline workflows for all user levels.
