Change time range defaults

The current time range defaults are 1h 8h 1d 1w 1mo. Please can you make a way admins can change the defaults for their company (for example replace the 8h button with a 1y), or admins can create new defaults? A 3d and 1y button would be very helpful. We dont use the 1h and 8h buttons often - we rely on the HMIs for that with better data resolution.

Hello, this can be changed in the PI Vision Admin page -> Display defaults.

    To elaborate further:

    1. What specific problem are you trying to solve with this enhancement?

Our organisation runs on 12 hour shift, but many short term trends are accessed on the opreators HMI. Process engineers, area managers etc use PV for long term trend investigation and detection (for example what does this valve position normally run at). We have once yearly shut downs so assess before and after these shuts is of use. Many users often have to type in "-1y" when analysing trends.

    1. How would you like this feature to work?

option 1: Allow time button default times to be modifiable by PV administrations so organisations can choose the default time stamps they want.

option 2. Better option is to allow organisations to create their own time stamps up to say 5 - 10 options. i suspect option 2 is more difficult to program.

    1. Who will benefit the most from this enhancement?

process engineers / operator / operations managers doing long term trend investigations thinking "where did we used to run"
