Retrieve PI Vision usage programmatically

Currently, the PI Vision Admin site contains several Reports on the usage of PI Vision displays, Calculations, and users. There is also the Display Session page that shows a list of the currently active PI Vision users and their opened display sessions. However, this information has to either be viewed from the PI Vision Admin site or be exported to csv file using the button if admins want to share that information with others.


It is desirable to be able to query this information from some API so it can be easily used in external dashboards such as Power BI or to make it possible to automate such reporting on a regular basis. Additionally, some of this could be structured in a way that allows for it to be captured back into the PI System as a PI Point or Attribute and thus viewable in a PI Vision display.


However, any solution should take into account ways to mitigate the potential for excessive querying that would negatively impact the performance of PI Vision's back-end SQL database.
