PI Vision must not allow users to trend the string tags

PI Vision must not allow users to trend the string tags. This is confusing from the end users perspective as the PI Vision is assigning random numbers while plotting the string values. Logically, string values are not trend able. End users (read only) who is visualizing the data through PI vision are getting confused as the PI Vision shows incorrect values with the trend. This is misrepresenting the actual data and getting feedback from end users that the PI Vision not fool-proof tool and having less confidence in using the PI Vision.

    Hey Navaneethakrishnan,

    You could have a look at this custom PI Vision tool that will autoamtically appear on all PI Vision screens on the let tool pane. It allows you to see all PI Point / AF attribute properties very easily.
