    To add to this, multi-line text boxes would also be useful. Sometimes, the user wants to explicitly start a new line by pressing Enter. If word wrap or multi-line text boxes were supported, OSIsoft would have to implement text alignment (left, center, right) for the text boxes as well.

    We would like to have a long text value in an AF Element Attribute, so that we can have it on a display in a context-sensitive manner. Perhaps it could even have simple embedded HTML formatting ? Including links? I imagine this would require a new 'Text Block' object to place on the display to handle formatted text.

    We have users breaking up paragraphs (like troubleshooting text) into multiple text objects in order to mimic wrapped text. It can be extremely cumbersome for them, especially when their objects can be multiple lines long. Multi-line text boxes would be extremely beneficial for these users.
