Global setting to configure the default behavior for links in PI Vision

In PI Vision 2025, the default behavior for links was changed so that they now open in the current browser tab instead of a new tab.

Many PI Vision users designed their displays with the previous behavior in mind and relied on it for navigation and usability.

It would be valuable to have a global configuration setting in PI Vision that allows administrators to define the default link behavior (same tab vs. new tab).

    If this is needed for navigation from PI Vision you could use tools like the Amitec Navigation Menue. This one can be configured to open Links in new Tabs. Beside of that it can be easily maintained from AF instead of scraping through PI Vision screens to change obsolete / outdated urls.
