Migrating Display Owners from AD User to Connect Users or Entra ID in bulk

When PI Vision migrates from Windows Authentication to OIDC, the display owner should be re-assigned to the corresponding OIDC account. e.g. Domain\User1 -->User1@Domain.com.

  • Currently, in PI Vision the users only appears in the display owner selecting list when the users have accessed one of the display. The related Feedback: Change display to owner who isn't already listed

  • The users are expected to use "My Display" to view their own displays after migration. Granting the OIDC users Manage/Admin permissions by AF Identities can't achieve this.
