Automatically adding Start Time and End Time to the PI Vision URL

Allow adding the timestamp automatically into the PI Vision link. The scenario is if you open any PI vision page and zoom into the timeframe which you required then the timestamp range which zoomed in should be automatically added up in the PI Vision link instead of adding the start time and end time parameter in the PI Vision URL. This will help the process engineers to identify the issue at a particular point of time and send that link directly to others without any manual intervention.

    Vasanth, it is must to have feature. Also have another recommendation interms of PI event frames where PI vision event frame table shows event details between start and end of the event when someone double click the table. It would be good to show before start and after end events to better understand the event rather than concentrating extactly at event frame time.

    Hi Vasanthakumar. Could you clarify what it is you are requesting that is not already provided in PI Vision? There is currently a Hyperlink option to "Set Start and End Time". When that is checked, the display start and end time is automatically passed to the linked displays using the URL parameters. No manual intervention is required for this. I just confirmed that this is how it works in PI Vision 2017 R2, and I believe this feature has been present in previous releases as well.
