remove element relative from pi vision screens

Is there any option from admin to disable the element relative display from PI Vision screens? We are facing issues even when we don’t change it or touch it. Sometimes it is changing automatically and without touching or selecting another element. We are building PI Vision screens that contains several elements like Boiler 1,2,3,4,… that are using element templates and we need to show different boilers in the same trend and page. it is changing automatically the Asset Boilers and we have to remap them in our displays and again it will change automatically for some reason. Is there any workaround for this issue or turn off this feature?

    The PI Vision development team has completed work to allow the configuration of related assets for displays in PI Vision 2017 R2, including the ability to disable the related assets selector on a display. Upgrade to PI Vision 2017 R2 to take advantage of this and other new features.     I'm sorry you are having problems with this feature. In the current release of PI Vision, there is no way to disable the element relative selector. In the next release (2017 R2, currently scheduled for Q4 2017), we expect to provide an option in each display to hide this selector. I believe that will correct the problems that you are currently experiencing.

    In response to Joseph Hajj Moussa, "Hi John,   Thank you for the below clari..." The PI System product road map can be viewed here: https://techsupport.osisoft.com/Products/Product-Roadmap PI Vision 2017 R2 will be released as part of the larger system release, and cannot be released until other parts of the system (for example, PI AF, PI Web API) are also released. At this time, we have a target date in mind, but because of all of the parts of the system that must work together, we don't want to be more specific than Q4. We hope to have a feature complete version that we can demonstrate at the London EMEA Users Conference in mid-October. The official release will not happen until after that time. I'm sorry we can't be more specific, but I hope this is helpful.
