Trend: Edit trace name in legend or be able to add a description

Edit the trace name or add a description in the legend of a trend in order to: 1) Make clear the description of the Attribute in the trend 2) Use an abbreviation for the attribute description in the trend legend 3) Use a different language in the legend while respecting the attribute name (for example, an attribute name is written in English in PI System Explorer but we would like to see Italian in the Coresight trend)

    In PI Vision 2020, new symbol enhancements were introduced including the ability to add element name, attribute name or description, or custom text as labels for trend, value, vertical gauge, horizontal gauge, and radial gauge symbols.     with pi vision it would be nice to be able to have the option to select the pi tag description to be shown on charts, rather than just the pi tag name. some people follow pi tag naming convention and some dont. being able to select the description would make life much easier to move from process book to pi vision for my group.

    It would really help if you were able to change the name of traces in trends. The names on the attached file are both long and not really informative.

    be able to change the tag name in the trend view like you can in the value sysmbol

    I would like to be able to add a description independent of the descriptor in the database because depending on why you create the trend it may have a deferent meaning. Such as KO drum pressure vs 1st stage suction pressure.

    add the possibility to change trace's name in the trend. Like the value symbol

    need to be able to customize the labels of the graph items. Some items have too much information and can be misleading... example: OTHER/MS-2922 SLUDGE TANK LEVEL. We should be able to delete "OTHER"

    Hi, being able to set a custom Name would be quite helpful for us. Do you know when a release is planned with that functionality?

    When developing a trend in PI Vision, there aren't any options to provide alternate descriptors for each trace other than the element/attribute for the trace. Can we get an option to update/adjust this descriptor, similar to the "visibility" option currently available when putting a value into PI Vision? This will REALLY help when putting multiple PVs on the one trend :)
