The PI Vision development team has completed work to allow the "Fit-all" option to be saved with a display in PI Vision 2017. Displays saved with "Fit-all" will automatically resize to fit within the browser window. Upgrade to PI Vision 2017 to take advantage of this and other key new features. You can read about the key new features in PI Vision 2017 in our release announcement here: https://techsupport.osisoft.com/Troubleshooting/Releases/RL01216

It would be good to have an option to do this. as you are building a large screen you may find out that you run out of space, so it is hard to resize all objects. instead having a button or something where you could say "On this screen always resize when opening"...

Make it so the display re size to the content area of the page. As of now you set the graphics size and then they are static size, when you change the size of the browser it just adds scroll bar and doesn't re size the display to fit. Previous version of Coresight re-sized in this matter, this could possibly be a bug.

Fit all by default or as a Url option would increase the user friendlyness of the coresight solutions in our plant.

I agree this would be a nice enhancement and improve the user experience on the PC and mobile devices. I find that I always have to click the "Fit All" button every time I open a display. It would be nice to save a click.

This should be a default feature.

Also, I'd love to see if we could add the ability for a user to toggle a single symbol (say, a trend) to automatically fill the entire display canvas from the start; this could help with folks who simply want to quickly see a history or time range for certain data items. They then wouldn't have to manually resize the trend to fill their canvas; the trend would resize itself to fill the display canvas.

Display settings should allow for definition of zoom to fit all or fit width. Currently (2016 R2) displays seem to show up with the number of pixels that they are created with. So, if I create something on my 24" monitor and a technician opens it on their laptop, they end up scrolling or manually zooming. User experience would be improved if the technician's display automatically defaulted a zoom that fit to the page width. It would be ideal to be able to seta default (display setting) for each display and to have the option of passing a parameter in via URL to override the selected default.

The current version does not zoom in on the Fit-All action, only zoom out. So it only scales down, but not up. That means developers must have the largest possible monitor...

What is meant by "allow the “Fit-all” option to be saved with a display". Where do I choose this option?
