Migrating Folder Structure Between PI Vision Environments with the PI Vision Display Utility

As of right now, there is no easy way to copy the folder structure. It would either have to be recreated manually or the entire database restored via a backup. If the PI Vision Display Utility could also migrate the folder structure it would be a big help for users and administrators.

PI Vision 2021 introduced new capabilities that allow PI Vision displays to be copied between PI Servers while persisting the source folder structure. I believe the display utility can now do this with features added in the 2021 version. From the documentation: 5.b. Once you find the displays you want, select the check box next to each one and click the right arrow. To move a folder and its contents, select the check box next to the folder and click the right arrow. 5.c. Under Display Options, select the Persist folder structure at target location check box to use the same folder structure in the new location.
