The PI Vision development team has completed work on mutliple symbol selection and grouping in PI Vision 2017. In design mode, you can click and drag to select multiple symbols on a display and then group them so they can be moved and copied together. Upgrade to PI Vision 2017 to take advantage of this and other new features. You can read about the key new features in PI Vision 2017 in our release announcement here: https://techsupport.osisoft.com/Troubleshooting/Releases/RL01216.

It is very difficult to accurately click on condensed objects and grab them all by manually clicking on them. This technology is native to almost any similar windows based program and is missing from CS.

Also would be nice to be able to Group objects once selected. As a suggestion to Todd, you might not have noticed but holding down control allows you to select multiple objects. not hte same, but a help.

This would be super helpful since it can be a pain to get the same consistency with like custom symbols.
