More control over pop up and ad hoc background color

Currently the background for ad hoc and pop up trends is controlled by the background color of the display and the background color of trends on the display. It would be nice to have more control over this setting. For this particular use case, it would be helpful to be able to control the ad hoc background color globally. An idea would be to have this formatting option in the "Format Display" window that currently allows you to control the display background color. I can also see a use case for controlling this on a display by display basis. Perhaps the best solution would be to have a global setting that then could be edited on individual displays as need be.

    As user, I'm totally agree. This should be the basic functionality of PI Vision

    I am seeing that the background color of the trend is somewhat determined by the background color of the display. We have a consistent background color on all our PI Vision displays that works well, but with the adhoc and popup trend the background and trace colors don't work together.

    I am all for having a global default trend background color for both these trends. It would help tremendously and all our users would appreciate this fix.

    Really need a default trend color control or individual trend background control. Engineers at my work hate seeing white trends. But designing PI vision pages in a light theme, easier on the eyes. I literally have no options, its either white or black. Also the greys from black to white. Just put a default trend color on the display options for us to set.
